HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UPDATES

Pontiac, Michigan (October 14, 2005) - -

DETECTIVE SECTION

  • On April 14, 2005 on Amos Street, two defendants were involved in the shooting death of Donte Robertson and the shooting of Kentrell Louris who as a result was left paralyzed.  On October 4, 2005, the preliminary exam was held in 50th District Court and all three defendants were bound over to Circuit Court for trial.  Christopher McCray and Brandon Arnold were bound over on all eight counts including homicide, attempt homicide and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.  Willie Ratcliff was bound over for accessory after the fact and aiding and abetting.  Detectives McKinney and Martin are the lead detectives in charge of this investigation. 
  • On July 5, 2005 on North Perry Street, two defendants robbed a man of his vehicle in a gas station parking lot and returned a short time later and shot him.  The subjects were apprehended a short time later by Pontiac Police road patrol.  At the preliminary exam, Cordero Landrum and Christopher Jackson were bound over to Circuit Court.  They are currently awaiting trial on numerous charges including first degree murder.  Detectives MacQuarrie and Gracey are the lead detectives in charge of this investigation. 
  • On September 10, 2005, Henry Jamison was shot by subject, TreMayne Shelton.  Shelton is charged with Open Murder.
