Frontline Police TV (Video Services)
Video Services allowed us to deliver our messages directly to the homes of the people of Pontiac and surrounding communities, provided a bridge between the Department and the public via television, radio, the World Wide Web, and to a limited extent, in print media.
Frontline Police TV was a monthly 30-minute program ran on local cable stations. The program provided information about the Pontiac Police Department, covered issues relevant to the people of Pontiac and highlighted people in the community that were assisting the efforts of the Department in combating crime.
In addition to Frontline, Video Services produced periodic public service announcements and "Pontiac's Most Wanted," appearing on government/public access cable stations.
Video Services also produced other law enforcement programming, such as internal video memos, training or recruitment videos and others.
