Administrative Services Division: Captain Pamela Chambers, Division Commander

The Administrative Services Division is responsible for the "business" side of the Pontiac Police Department. It handles records, information technology, grants, career training and job development, inventory and payroll.

Uniform Services Division: Captain James Todd Courtney, Division Commander

The Community Services Division is responsible for providing the citizen's of Pontiac with 24-hour, 7 day-a-week coverage to all calls for service; it provides for road patrols, special event planning, traffic enforcement, and accident investigation.

Investigative Services Division: Captain Wendy Keelty, Division Commander

The Investigative Services Division is tasked with the investigation and follow up of initial criminal investigations, forensic analysis of physical evidence, handling, storage and disposal of evidence and property, management of subsequent cases in a court of law, youth crimes investigations and the School Resource Officer Program.

Internal Affairs Division: Lieutenant Robert Miller, Division Commander

The Internal Affairs Division is charged with investigating citizen's complaints of misconduct and internal investigations of violations of rules and regulations. The division is also responsible for policy and procedural instructions and managing civil litigation against members of the Police Department.
